Bring parts in from Stocklyst instead of typing them twice

If you keep your stock in Stocklyst, connect it once and add its parts to a job straight from Add part. The part is copied into your Mechbuk parts list as you add it, so it is there for every job after.

  • The workshop owner connects it in Settings → Integrations and picks which Stocklyst workspace to use. Switch it off or disconnect at any time — parts already copied stay.
  • Search as usual in Add part: anything not yet in your parts list shows underneath, under From Stocklyst, with how many are in stock.
  • Mechbuk only reads from Stocklyst and never changes your stock there. A part with no cost in Stocklyst comes in as TBC, not $0.

Undo mistakes on operations

An operation marked done by mistake can now be reopened, and one added by mistake can be removed even after it was declined.

  • Reopen it from the work order's Manage menu or the yard sheet. Hours a mechanic clocked or typed in are kept.
  • Remove works on anything nobody started — waiting or declined — and clears the crew assigned to it at the same time.

Completing an operation no longer bills the days in between

Marking an operation complete on the desk used to fill in its hours as the time between start and finish, so a job started in August and finished in September could show over a thousand hours of labour. Now it records only the hours you enter or that were clocked.

  • If no hours were recorded, the work order says so and charges the estimated time.
  • Operations that had picked up hours this way have been cleared.
